Corona broke all records, killing 2020 in one day, infecting 2.94 million people

The second wave of Corona virus is proving to be very deadly and is becoming a new record for the highest number of deaths every day. In the last 24 hours, 2020 patients have died due to corona in the country, according to a WorldDometer report. This is the highest daily death toll since the epidemic began last year. For the first time in the country, more than 2,000 people have died from corona in a single day. At the same time, the number of active patients has also increased significantly.

2,94,115 new infected patients were reported in the last 24 hours. This is also the highest number of infections reported in a single day in the country. At the same time, the total number of deaths due to corona in the country has risen to 1,82,570. The total number of people infected so far is 1,56,09,004. Currently, 21,50,119 patients are undergoing treatment in the country, which is 13.8 per cent of the total number of infected people.

The recovery rate reached 85 percent

The recovery rate of Corona infections has also been steadily declining and has now reached only 85 per cent. The number of people recovering from the virus has risen to 1,32,69,863, according to the report. However, the national mortality rate from Corona has come down to 1.20 per cent but in Maharashtra it is 1.5 per cent and in West Bengal it is 1.6 per cent.
