Corona breaks all records, 2.34 lakh new cases in 24 hours, 1341 deaths in the country


- Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka are at the forefront in the Koro case

The daily increase in corona cases in the country is becoming more alarming. In the last 24 hours, 2,34,692 new cases of corona have been reported in the country and 1341 people have lost their lives. According to a new report, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka are at the forefront of corona cases in the country.

Maharashtra has the highest number of 63,729 new cases and Uttar Pradesh has 27,360 new cases. There were 19,486 new cases in Delhi, 14,912 in Chhattisgarh and 14,859 in Karnataka. These 5 states have the highest number of new cases. Out of the total new cases, 59.79 per cent cases are from these 5 states alone. From Maharashtra, 27.15 per cent new cases have come up. Besides, the death toll in Maharashtra has also gone up and 398 people have lost their lives. In Delhi, 141 people have died.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,23,354 people have recovered while 1,341 have died in the last 24 hours. In the midst of all this, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggesting appropriate steps to be taken in the Koro crisis. According to him, apart from the government supply of the vaccine, it should also be made available in the open market so that those who are interested can easily get the dose of the vaccine.
