There is a severe shortage of oxygen in small hospitals in Delhi. An application was filed in the Delhi High Court as Delhi was getting less oxygen than its daily requirement. During the hearing, the Delhi High Court had slammed the Center.
The Delhi High Court said, "Even though the Center has been slapped before, it has not been seriously implemented." We all know that now it seems as if the country is running smoothly.
The Delhi High Court had directed the National Capital to provide oxygen without any hindrance. If the quantity from other states is stagnant, the Central Government will take appropriate action immediately. In his reply, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Center, said the government was taking appropriate action. Action will also be taken against anyone who withholds the quantity.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the process of bringing oxygen from Odisha has been started to alleviate the oxygen shortage in Delhi. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also expressed readiness to extend full cooperation to Kejriwal.
