Army and DRDO hospitals to be opened to the general public: Rajnath Singh's order during Koro's tenure


- All the local commanders of the Indian Army asked the Chief Ministers of their respective states to help in all possible ways

The country is witnessing a huge surge in the number of cases due to uncontrollable second wave of corona. This has led to shortage of beds, oxygen, ventilators etc. in the hospitals. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has taken an important decision as the number of corona patients in the country is increasing very fast.

The Defense Minister has directed Army Chief MM Narwane, Defense Secretary and DRDO Chairman that they also provide treatment facilities to the general public in Army, Kent and DRDO hospitals.

Rajnath Singh said that all the local commanders of the Indian Army have asked the Chief Ministers of their states to come together and help in any way possible. Similarly the Secretary of Defense has been ordered to treat civilians in all Kent Board hospitals.
