Tamil Nadu Assembly elections: BJP announces manifesto, promises complete ban on alcohol in the state

New delhi date. March 22, 2021, Monday

The BJP today announced its manifesto for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. In its manifesto, the BJP has promised a complete ban on alcohol in the state. At the same time, the party has promised to help 6,000 fishermen every year like farmers.

Apart from this, the BJP has talked of creating 50 lakh new jobs in Tamil Nadu. Senior leaders, including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and VK Singh, were present at the unveiling of the manifesto.

Highlights of the Manifesto: -

- Two wheeler driving licenses will be given free to young women between the ages of 18 and 13

- Eighth and ninth standard students will be given free tablets

- Agriculture budget will be prepared separately

- Ration will be delivered at home

- The government will set up multi-specialty hospitals at every district headquarters and all people will get free treatment there.

- Under Water Life, free drinking water will be supplied to all households by 2022

- Chennai Corporation will be divided into three divisions like Delhi

The polls for all the 234 seats in Tamil Nadu will be held on April 6. The result will come on the second day of May. In this election, the BJP has formed an alliance with the ruling AIDMK. The BJP is contesting 20 seats in the state.
