Silent Killer Submarine 'Karanj' formally in the Navy

The deadly submarine Karanj, which has earned the title of Silent Killer, has joined the Indian Navy today, which has increased the strength of the Navy. He was inducted into the Navy at Mumbai in the presence of Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and retired Admiral VS Shekhawat.

This submarine is called the Silent Killer because it has the ability to destroy enemy ships without making a sound. This is a Scorpion class submarine and the first two submarines of this class, Calvary and Khanderi, have already joined the Navy. A maritime trial of the fourth submarine Vella is underway and it will soon join the Pum Navy.

INS Karanj has the capability to launch torpedoes as well as anti-ship missiles from the surface of the sea and within the sea. It is also fitted with state-of-the-art surveillance equipment.

It is 70 meters long and 12 meters high and weighs 1600 tons. The technology of the submarine is such that it can stay underwater for a long time and does not have to come to the surface frequently to take oxygen. Technology has been used.
