The Uddhav government of Maharashtra has been in question since the arrest of Sachin Vaze, a former Mumbai police officer, in the Antilia case. Then came the political quake in Maharashtra after former Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh leveled allegations against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. In the midst of all this, another incident has come up which may increase the Shiv Sena's troubles.

Navneet Ravi Rana, an independent MP from Maharashtra's Amravati Lok Sabha seat, has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. In it, he has accused Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant of threatening him. Navneet Rana says that Arvind Sawant has threatened to put him in jail after he raised questions against the Thackeray government in Sasand.

The case involving Maharashtra was hotly debated in both the Houses of Parliament on Monday. BJP and Navneet Rana also tried to house Shiv Sena and Uddhav government. Later, Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant was accused by Navneet Rana of threatening him.

In a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker, he wrote that Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant had threatened to jail him inside the Parliament lobby when he raised his voice against the Thackeray government in Parliament over the Mansukh Hiren murder and Sachin Vaz case. The Shiv Sena MP told him, "I will see how you travel in Maharashtra and we will put you in jail too."
