Sharad Pawar was admitted to Birch Candy Hospital and will undergo surgery tomorrow

NCP leader Sharad Pawar was admitted to the hospital a day before his surgery, though on Tuesday he complained of abdominal pain. Leading party leader Nawab Malik said 80-year-old Pawar was admitted to Birch Candy Hospital.

He said Pawar was supposed to be admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, but he was suffering from persistent abdominal pain, so the NCP leader was admitted to Birch Candy Hospital on Tuesday.

Malik said Pawar would be admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for surgery causing gall bladder problems, Pawar had abdominal pain for the first time on Sunday, and he underwent a checkup at Breach Candy Hospital. Pawar was taking blood thinners, but he has stopped taking them. Sharad Pawar will undergo endoscopy and surgery on March 31, which has led to the cancellation of all his programs.
