- Petrol and diesel prices rose for 16 consecutive days last month

State-owned oil companies on Wednesday revised petrol and diesel prices after 24 days. In the national capital, petrol became cheaper by 18 paise and diesel by 17 paise today. In Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 90.99 per liter.
Petrol and diesel prices rose for 16 consecutive days last month, pushing fuel prices to an all-time high in almost every city.
Prices of major cities
After the recent reduction, the price of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 90.00 per liter and diesel to Rs 81.30 per liter. Similarly, petrol in Mumbai costs Rs 97.40 per liter and diesel Rs 88.42 per liter.
The price of crude oil in the international market has dropped by 10 per cent in 15 days. The third wave of corona in Europe is likely to reduce fuel demand there. As a result, the price of crude oil has dropped from 71 71 a barrel to 64 64.
