Archaeologists are still struggling to gather enough evidence before reaching the final conclusions about the four thousand year old Harappan civilization.

In this connection, a new and interesting discovery has been made by the researchers. Excavations in the Anupgadh area in Rajasthan have revealed information about the eating habits of the people of Harappan culture.

An article in the journal says that even in the Harappan culture, people ate high-protein multigrain ladu. The ladu hardens after contact with the swamp and preserves the organic matter and other elements inside. Seven such ladu we found during excavations.

Scientists say that at first we were surprised by its shape and size. However, it appeared to be man-made. Initially, it was thought to be a non-veg food. However, during the analysis, it was found that wheat, chickpeas and These ladu were made using sesame seeds. The lauda also contained more lentils, grains and mugs than other ingredients.

In the early stages of the Indus Valley Civilization, people relied heavily on agriculture and the formation of these ladu may be related to it.
