Now even bicycles are out of reach of the common man, an increase of so much

Corona virus has made cycling very popular among the people in lockdown, on the other hand petrol-diesel prices have skyrocketed, people are doing cycling a lot even in compulsion, but now this common man's bicycle has also become expensive.

The price of bicycles has gone up by up to 50 per cent since the lockdown. The price of a normal bicycle has gone up from Rs 3,700 to Rs 4,500. The price of ordinary bicycles as well as fancy bicycles has increased by Rs. 1000-1200.

Bicycles are also becoming more expensive due to the ever-increasing prices of iron and plastic, now the common man has to think a hundred times before buying a new bicycle.

The fitness center and gym were closed during the lockdown, so fitness enthusiasts turned to cycling to keep themselves fit so that one phase of the lockdown saw a bumper rise in the price of bicycles.
