Nita Ambani, wife of businessman Mukesh Ambani and chairman of the Reliance Foundation, was rumored to have been made a visiting professor at the Benaras Hindu University.

However, a Reliance Industries spokesperson has now clarified that no offer has been made to make Nita Ambani a visiting professor. The news is fake and no such thing has happened.

Recently, reports were circulating that a proposal has been sent by the university's social sciences department to make Nita Ambani a visiting professor.

However, following reports of Nita Ambani being made a visiting professor, a group of students opposed her and accused the university authorities of acting at the behest of businessmen.

Meanwhile, Dean of Social Sciences Professor Kaushal Kishor also said that Nita Ambani had accepted the proposal verbally. However, it has been a tradition to link the university with big businessmen.
