Lockdown in the state again, transition to dangerous level, find out what the health minister said

Mumbai, Ta. 08 March 2021, Monday

Korona has reached a dangerous state in Maharashtra. With the movement of people being curtailed in several cities of Maharashtra, the state's health minister Rajesh Tope has warned the people that Korona is in fact reaching a dangerous state. "Strict measures may be announced after discussions with the Maharashtra chief minister, top officials and the police," Tope said.

He hinted that sanctions could be imposed in some districts if needed. The health minister said district collectors could be given the power to impose lockdowns. "People have to follow the rules," he said. Penalties will be increased for those who do not follow the rules.

Maharashtra is one of the states where the transition has been steadily increasing for the last several days, while it has been declining for a long time, but even in the entire year of the Corona period, the Corona cases in Maharashtra remained ahead.

While holding the people accountable, Rajesh Tope also acknowledged the government's laxity. “People have taken Corona lightly,” he said. There is no seriousness in anyone's mind. There was also a delay in the government machinery regarding compliance with the rules. Night curfew has been imposed in several districts of Maharashtra this week and school colleges have been closed.
