Delhi Police intercepted a call from Tihar Jail in the first week of January with something strange. One prisoner asked his family not for food or drugs but for the mercury we use to measure temperature.

Police searched the internet for mercury and then their hair grew taller. A special team was then stopped which has been successful in exposing the conspiracy. The two terrorists in jail had hatched a big conspiracy and the two accused in the riots in Delhi were their targets.

Police continued to keep an eye on Shahid, who made the call from the jail, and Aslam, whom he had called. Shahid gangraped a woman along with his friend in 2015 and later brutally murdered her. He also killed the woman's two children so that the witness would not survive.

Aslam bought about 100 thermometers from a medical store and learned to extract mercury with a dropper with the help of Google. Aslam knew the mercury would be used to kill someone in jail and police have also arrested him.

Conspiracy at the behest of IS terrorists

During the remand of the special cell, Shahid said that he came in contact with two operatives of the Islamic State. The duo allegedly incited him to kill two people in jail on charges of damaging a mosque and killing some members of his community during riots in Delhi last year.

Shahid was very impressed with the way he was told about the ideology of IS. Because of this he decided to do as he was told. The plan was to fight when all the inmates were in the jail and to seize the opportunity to inject mercury into the bodies of both the inmates.
