Inflation is pushing the country towards destruction, people raise their voices: Rahul Gandhi

Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi has lashed out at the central government over the issue of inflation and launched a campaign on social media to raise his voice against it.

As petrol and diesel prices rise in the country, so do the prices of all commodities. "People need to come together now and speak out against inflation," he said as people struggled between the recession and inflation.

Rahul Gandhi said that inflation is a curse. The central government is pushing people into the swamp of inflation just to get the tax amount. People need to speak out against the country as it moves towards destruction.

After Rahul Gandhi launched the campaign, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said, "Whatever steps the Modi government has taken, it has emptied the pockets of the people but now people will not tolerate it and will raise their voices."
