In most American cities, crime against Asians has risen by 150 percent

Washington:
Crime against Asians has risen by 120 percent in most American cities. In the United States, there were 200 incidents in Asia in the year 2020 targeting Asians. Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, released the report based on police records. Racial discrimination did not decrease even during the Corona epidemic.
A report covering 12 major US cities was prepared. The number of incidents of Asians being targeted for hatred has increased by 150 per cent in one year. More than 500 incidents of violence against Asians, large and small, were recorded in police records in nine US states.
In New York, there were 4 incidents of violence against Asians in 2050, compared to 6 incidents a year ago. Similarly, in Los Angeles, the number of discriminatory incidents increased from 9 to 12. There was also a one-year increase in the total number of incidents of foreign nationals being targeted by American citizens.
The report expressed concern about the issue and said that if the crime rate did not decrease, it would in the long run cause a major rift in the American social fabric. Inequality among citizens will increase. Friendship will decrease, peace will decrease, and hatred will continue to grow. The number of Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States, known as AAPI, is estimated at 25 million.
