With the Assembly polls now counting down to the West Bengal Assembly, all parties are holding rallies and public meetings. Prime Minister Modi tried to establish the narrative that BJP is the party of Bengal here and said that the father of Jana Sangh was the grandson of this Bengal. So if there is a Bengal party in the true sense, it is the BJP. Ashutosh Mukherjee and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee are in the DNA of the BJP.
