The Union government has asked the governments of eight states and union territories to re-implement the daily test, track and treat (test, observation and treatment) strategy in the case of corona virus infection, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday.

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan and Policy Commission member Dr. VK Paul met with the health secretaries of Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Chandigarh to review the situation regarding the increase in daily cases of corona in these states.
The health ministry said the meeting also noted that the situation was still worrisome in 9 districts of Delhi, 15 in Haryana, 10 in Andhra Pradesh, 10 in Odisha, 9 in Himachal Pradesh, 7 in Uttarakhand, 2 in Goa and 1 in Chandigarh.
