Covid-19: All schools closed in Chandigarh, Holi Milan, rallies also banned

After Punjab, Chandigarh administration has also ordered closure of all schools till March 31. It may be mentioned here that there has been a sudden increase in corona cases in Chandigarh in the last few days. The education department said that examinations would be held online up to third and eighth standard, during which teachers would be required to come to school.

These programs will be banned

Cancel all Holi Milan events

No ceremony will be held in hotels

Fairs, exhibitions not allowed

Restaurants and various malls will run with 50 percent capacity

Also banned political rallies, demonstrations and crowds

Appeal to frontline workers to be vaccinated as well

Libraries, auditoriums and theaters as well as museums are closed

Can't order a meal after 10 p.m.
