Mamata Banerjee has again suffered a major setback ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections. On Monday, five TMC MLAs quit the party and took refuge with the BJP. TMC candidate Sarla Murmu from Habibpur.
All of them joined the BJP on Monday in the presence of West Bengal BJP state president Dilip Ghosh, Shubhendu Adhikari, and Mukul Roy. .
TMC has announced the names of its candidates in 291 seats, of which 50 women have been given tickets. In the 2016 elections, 45 women were nominated by the party. This time, these five MLAs have not been given tickets. Have left the party.
