New delhi date. Saturday, March 6, 2021

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a conference of Army Commanders at Kevadia in Gujarat today (Saturday). Going to the Joint Commanders Conference for the first time and the participation of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) will be seen.

Very important timing

The annual Joint Commander Conference was canceled last year due to the Corona virus epidemic. The first CCC meeting was held in 2014 and at the same time the three armies suggested holding a convention outside Delhi.

The meeting comes at a time when India and China are trying to normalize the situation in eastern Ladakh after nearly nine months of conflict. Tensions between India and China escalated on May 5 last year after a violent clash in the Pangong Lake area.

The officers were also present

The 3-day Conference of Army Commanders (CCC) began on Thursday. NSA Ajit Doval, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, Army Chief M.M. Narwane, Air Chief Marshal R.K.S. Bhadauria, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and senior officials from the Ministry of Defense and the Army will be present at the conference. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister will review India's preparations on the China-Pakistan border and review progress on building a unified arch of the three branches of the military.
