Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Bangladesh. On Saturday, the second day of the pilgrimage, he started the day by offering worship at the Yashoreshwari Kali Temple. Prime Minister Modi reached the Yashoreshwari Kali Temple at Ishwarpur village in the morning for darshan. The temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas located in India and neighboring countries.

Later, Prime Minister Modi visited the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj district. He is the first Indian leader to do so. He will inaugurate the Bangabandhu Bapu Museum today.

After the pooja at the Yashoreshwari temple, Prime Minister Modi said that before Chaitra Navratri comes, Maa bowed at Kali Shakti Peeth. Good luck receiving his blessings. Believers prayed for deliverance from the Koro crisis. Prayed for the whole mankind. My effort is to bow my head in 51 Shakti Peeths if given the opportunity. A community hall is needed here. It will be a shelter for all during the disaster and will be used for the rest of the worship.
