According to the World Bank, India's GDP will be between 7.5 and 12.5 per cent in 2021-22

Amid a new wave of corona in countries around the world, including India, the World Bank has forecast that India's GDP could be between 7.5 per cent and 12.5 per cent in the 2021-22 financial year.

A senior World Bank official, however, declined to give an exact figure for GDP, saying the range was set at 7.5 per cent to 12.5 per cent because the pace of coronary transition would increase or slow. So this range has been kept.

However, urging reporters to make predictions about India, the official said that India's growth rate could be a little over 10 per cent.

Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected India's economic growth to be 11.5 per cent in 2021-22. However, the figures released by the World Bank are slightly different from those of the IMF.

Economic activity is also being affected as the transition to Coro is spreading rapidly in a number of large states in India, which has not yet seen the expected growth on the economic front, especially in the manufacturing sector. Travel, Tourism, Aviation, Restaurant The service sector has also suffered due to the corona. Demand is also not increasing as there is no significant increase in employment.
