West Bengal: TMC 'sanctifies' the place where the Prime Minister addressed the meeting in Hooghly with Ganga water

Hooghly, Ta. 23 February 2021, Tuesday

In the West Bengal Assembly elections, there is a constant battle between the Trinamool Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Hooghly, West Bengal, targeting the TMC. Now the same ground has been consecrated by TMC workers on Tuesday by spraying Ganga water.

In Hooghly, a campaign has been launched under the leadership of TMC district president Dilip Yadav. The TMC has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made false allegations against Mamata Banerjee from here. The central government is dealing with West Bengal like a stepmother.

Mamata Banerjee will also address an election rally at the same ground on February 24. In Tewama, TMC activists say that the ground has been sanctified by sprinkling Ganga water. Not only that but the TMC has alleged that several trees have been cut down at the site where the helipad was built for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The TMC has even claimed that a 100-year-old tree has been cut down for the helipad. A tree planting campaign was also carried out at this place by J TMC. TMC said that BJP has compensated for the damage done to the environment.
