US withdraws economic sanctions and duties on us: China

China today called on the United States to stop tarnishing the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC) and its political system, lift trade sanctions and stop supporting insurgents in Taiwan, Tibet, Hong Kong and Xinjiang.

Focusing on US-China relations, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in his speech that the Biden administration would have to rethink its policies towards China, led by former US President Donald Trump.

"We have no intention of challenging or changing America," Wang said. We want a peaceful relationship with America and want to work with it.

In the same way, we want the United States to respect China's interests, prestige, rights and development rights. We appeal to the United States to stop tarnishing the CPC and its political system.

The United States must also stop supporting rebels in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Tibet. "We hope that the United States will reconsider its anti-China policies as soon as possible," he said. Will lift restrictions on Chinese companies, research and educational institutions.

Relations between the United States and China are at their worst in recent times. Both China and the US have further cracked the relationship by increasing import duties on each other's goods. On February 11, US President Biden and Chinese President Jinping spoke on the phone for two hours.
