Two top Indian Army officers clash over discipline, court orders inquiry

The infighting between two top military officials in the disciplined Indian Army has become highly controversial.

Disagreements between lieutenant general-level officers in the army have seldom surfaced in this way. In this case, Army Chief General M M Narwane has ordered a Court of Inquiry. Repswall has also withdrawn complaints against each other.

However, the final decision on the issue will be taken by the Army Chief. However, the Court of Inquiry is in the final stages of the dispute. The inquiry has also been handed over to a lieutenant general. Officer Lieutenant General Claire is due to retire on March 31. He has been sent to Eastern Command by the Army. The family of the two generals has a long association with the Army.

Tensions have been running high between them for some time now. He has lodged a complaint with the Army Chief. Finally, seeing the seriousness of the situation, the Army Chief has ordered a Court of Inquiry.
