Kabul, Ta. Tuesday, February 9, 2021

Three separate terrorist attacks in Afghanistan on Tuesday killed five government officials and four policemen. No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Afghan capital, Kabul, was attacked by gunmen who killed four employees of the government's rural development ministry.

A statement issued by the Afghan president's residence hours after the attack by Gunman said the target of the terrorists was Riaz Ahmed Khalil, a provincial director of the Rural Development Department.

Those who were killed included them. Another car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Baghdad. According to the ministry, the driver of the car of a ministry employee was also killed in the attack.

There were three attacks in Afghanistan in a single day, the third in Herat province. Four police officers were killed and one was injured when a bomb exploded in an already-fitted vehicle.

The Taliban, on the other hand, has reactivated, calling for the elimination of 21 Taliban fighters in Faryah province during an operation by Afghan forces. While as many as 18 terrorists have been injured. On the other hand, the ongoing peace talks between the Afghan government and representatives of the Taliban have been hit hard by the attack.

The government has now recalled its representatives. This could lead to large-scale clashes between the Taliban and the Afghan army in the coming days. As the Taliban is not ready to keep its promises, the Afghan army has also stepped up its operations and launched an operation to eliminate the terrorists.
