NASA's Perseverance Rover made a successful landing on Mars on Thursday night. NASA announced via Twitter that the Perseverance Rover had successfully landed on the surface of Mars. The rover's successful landing sparked a wave of excitement among NASA scientists and staff. In fact, NASA's effort is a very important step in its quest to bring humans to the Red Planet.

Executive Director Steve Jafarji congratulated his team after the Perseverance Rover made a successful landing on Mars. At the same time, the team praised him for doing a very good job in overcoming all the difficulties, including the Corona virus.

The Perseverance Rover was launched on July 30, 2020. The rover will search for signs of microbial life on the surface of Mars as well as collect samples of broken mountains, dust. These specimens will be brought to earth by one more expedition in the near future. It is learned that these samples will be brought to earth in the year 2031 by another expedition. The Perseverance Rover will explore geology and climate on Mars and is NASA's fifth rover.

Parachutes were used to slow down the rover

NASA broadcast live the landing of a જેવા 220 million car-shaped spacecraft. A supersonic parachute was used to slow down the rover, which was traveling at 12,000 miles per hour. At this speed, New York can be reached from London in just 15 minutes.

If everything goes according to NASA's plan, this Perseverance rover will hit the bottom of an 820 feet deep crater called Jezero. According to scientists, Jejero was first a lake and had water in it about 350 million years ago.
