New delhi date. 06 February 2021, Saturday

According to farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, the protesting farmers are ready to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rakesh Tikait said the agitating farmers were ready to hold talks with PM Narendra Modi. They are just waiting for the Prime Minister's invitation.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in an all-party meeting a few days back that he was only a phone call away from talking to farmers. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar can be called and talked to by the farmer leader whenever he wants.

Regarding this, farmer leader Rakesh Tiket said today that PM Modi should give his number so that we can call him. Tikait is leading a farmers' movement on the Ghazipur border between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

It may be mentioned that the United Farmers Front has decided to hold a Chakka Jam on February 6 from 12 noon to 3 pm. In this case, Rakesh Tiket said, farmers in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will not block roads on Saturday but will peacefully submit applications to the district headquarters and taluka headquarters.

Besides, it has been decided to keep farmers in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on stand-by. These farmers have been kept on standby to give backup to the movement. They rest there and manage their own farms.
