Nature angry: Earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir after floods in Uttarakhand

A mild tremor was felt in Jammu and Kashmir at around 4:56 am on Monday. At that time all the people were enjoying a good night's sleep in the house so that they did not feel the earthquake. The quake had a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology confirmed the quake and said its magnitude was low.

Jammu and Kashmir was also hit by an earthquake last month. Last month, an earthquake shook the Kashmir Valley twice. A few days ago, there were two earthquakes in Jammu and Kashmir during the month of January and at that time the epicenter was 10 km below the ground level at Gandoh in Doda district.

The magnitude of the earthquake that struck on the 11th of last month was very high. At that moment, a magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook the region and people rushed out of the house. However, the magnitude of the recent earthquake was low and it was not felt as people were asleep.
