Ruchira Narulla, wife of Mamata's nephew Abhishek Banerjee, is to be questioned by the CBI today and earlier Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived at Abhishek Banerjee's house and stayed for a short talk.

Within minutes of Mamata Banerjee leaving Abhishek's house, the CBI team reached Abhishek Banerjee's house. According to sources, Ruchira Narullah has been questioned as a witness. He has been appealed by the CBI to co-operate in the investigation.

The case is No. 202. When the CBI registered a case against the officers and employees of Eastern Coalfields Ltd., they were charged with theft and trafficking of coal. The CBI then raided 45 places.

This included the house of Abhishek Banerjee. While his close confidante Vinay Mishra was also raided by the CBI there. However, Mishra did not appear before the CBI even after being called four times. The name of Abhishek Banerjee's wife Ruchira also came to light during the investigation.
