New delhi date. Wednesday, February 3, 2021

The issue was raised by Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi CM Kejriwal when 29 farmers were reported missing after the January 26 violence in Delhi.

"We will release a list of 115 observers lodged in jails after the violence. These farmers were arrested after the violence. In addition, our government will make every effort to find the missing farmers. The release of the list will help the families of the missing farmers," he said.

Kejriwal said the Delhi government would also talk to the Center if needed to find the missing farmers. It may be mentioned that a joint committee of farmers has alleged that 29 farmers are missing and the list was handed over to Chief Minister Kejriwal by the farmers yesterday.

The farmers have also demanded that a board be set up to conduct medical check-ups of the jailed farmers. Innocent farmers have been jailed by the government.
