According to a report, India has suffered the most cyber attacks in the Asia-Pacific last year after Japan. This information was given in a report published by IBM on Wednesday. According to a report by IBM Security X Force, cybercriminal attacks in 2020 focused on the commercial sectors that were most active during the Covid-19 epidemic.
These sectors include companies in the energy sector in addition to manufacturers of hospitals, medical and pharmaceuticals. According to the report, India was the second most cyber attack victim in Asia-Pacific. In 2020, 7% of all cyber attacks in Asia were in India.
According to an IBM report, India has the highest number of cyber attacks on the financial and insurance sectors at 60 per cent. Then comes the number of manufacturers and business services.
