The central government is working on a plan to allow vehicles to pass without paying toll if traffic jams increase at toll plazas on various highways in the country.

According to the government's plan, a different colored line will be drawn at a fixed distance from the toll collection cabin on each lane of all the toll plazas in the country. If there is a traffic jam and the queue of vehicles reaches this line, all the vehicles parked in that lane will be allowed to go without paying toll tax.

The Ministry of Transport has been receiving reports that toll plazas are still jammed even after the use of Fastag. Monitoring of all toll plazas has been started since then. Do not have to face.

The team monitoring the toll plaza says that with the use of Fastag reaching 90 per cent, there is no excuse for the jam at the toll plaza.

According to the new plan, the standard of how many lanes will be constructed from the toll plaza will be different for each toll plaza.
