Mohan Delkar, a seven-term MP from DN Haveli, has committed suicide by choking himself in a Mumbai hotel. Police have seized a 12- to 13-page suicide note from the scene. However, the reason behind committing suicide is still intact.

But for the last long time there was a cold war going on between the MP and the administration. The investigation into the high-profile suicide case has been handed over to the ACP of Mumbai's Colaba division.

MP Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar (U.V.59), who has been representing Union Territory of Daan Haveli for seven terms in the Lok Sabha, committed suicide by choking himself at the Sea Green South Hotel in Mumbai's Marine Drive area today.

Stayed at the hotel with the driver and bodyguard on Sunday for work in Mumbai. However, they did not come out till 12 noon.

The entire region has been stunned by the news of the sudden death of the MP. As soon as the incident was reported, the Marine Drive police reached the spot and conducted an inquiry. The body was later sent to JJ Hospital for postmortem. Currently, the police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigation has been handed over to the Colaba Division.

Police have seized a 12 to 13 page Gujarati suicide note from the spot. Which will be shown to the family. However, does the suicide note mention the reason behind the suicide and the names of those responsible for the suicide? It was not officially known.

But the names of 40 people are known to be mentioned. But there was a long-running cold war between the MP and the administration. In which the administration's displeasure was also aroused when public issues were presented in the Lok Sabha. His funeral will be held at Selvas tomorrow.

The investigation of this suicide case should not be carried out under political pressure and who is forcing the MP to commit suicide? Umesh Patel, president of the Youth Action Force, has demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
