The second Test between India and England starts today in Chennai. However, the Test match is significant in that it is the first time spectators have returned to the stadium since the lockdown was imposed by Corona.

Earlier, spectators were not allowed to watch the match in any stadium in India due to Corona. However, in the second Test, 50 per cent of the stadium's capacity has been allowed for cricket fans to enjoy the match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also taken note of this, saying, "We were waiting for the noise at the Chepauk ground in Chennai. We are ready to welcome the spectators.

Chennai's stadium has a capacity of about 30,000 and 15,000 spectators are allowed to come to watch the match. People, on the other hand, were also excited to watch live cricket almost a year later. All tickets for the first day of the match were sold out within the counting hours.

In the second Test, Team India won the toss and elected to bat. After Shubhaman Gill, Pujara and Kohli were dismissed cheaply, Rohit Sharma's superb century helped India to 189 for 3 by the tea break.
