BJP's worries have increased, if the farmers' movement continues for a long time, it may fall into the vote bank

The long-running peasant movement is creating a worrying situation for the BJP.

Sources said that Union Minister Sanjeev Balia had met BJP president JP Nadda and while reporting on the farmers' movement, said it could hurt the BJP.

Last week, JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with leaders of about 40 Jat-majority areas in Haryana, western UP, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, in which it was decided that MPs would go among the people and explain how the new laws would work. It is beneficial for the farmers and at the same time the people will be informed that this movement is being run by political parties to discredit the Modi government.

However, the feedback received by the BJP is not good. Speaking of Western UP, if the farmers' movement lasts long, it could lead to a rift in the party's Jat vote bank in the 2022 Assembly elections.

People believe that the government should listen to the farmers and solve their problems. The main reason behind the displeasure of the Jats in Haryana is the state government. It has increased the displeasure of the agrarian movement. Has not come and the outstanding amount has not been paid to the farmers.

If the agitation goes on for a long time, the Jats and the Muslim vote bank could come together and hurt the BJP. Not only in western UP but also in other areas where the Jats live in large numbers, they can affect other castes as well. Resentment can increase in people.
