BJP MP speaking in Rajya Sabha about peasant movement, don't build one more Shahin Bagh

The struggle of the peasants is going on from the road to the Parliament. On the one hand, the farmers' association has set up camps on different borders of Delhi demanding the return of the three agricultural laws. Opposition MPs are raising the voice of farmers inside the parliament. The issue was also raised in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. On the other hand, a Bharatiya Janata Party MP said that the agitation should not be made Shahinbagh.

The Rajya Sabha on Wednesday debated the motion of thanks on the President's address. Meanwhile, BJP MP Bhuvneshwar Kalita also spoke. The MP said the government has worked for the upliftment of farmers through the new agricultural law. Yet this opposition MP is restricting the proceedings of Parliament on this issue.

He said the government has talked to the farmers about some trips and opened the way for discussions. The government is ready for all the issues related to this but I would like to appeal to my friends not to make this one more Shaheen Bagh.

Apart from the peasant movement, Bhuvneshwar Kalita also raised the issue of CAA. He was also against the CAA if the agitation continued for more than three months in Delhi's Shahinbagh. Roads connecting Noida-Badarpur were closed on both sides during the agitation. There was also a lot of controversy over this issue. There was a lot of rhetoric on Shaheen Bagh in the Delhi Assembly elections and violence erupted in North East Delhi at the time of the agitation.

Political rhetoric is also at its peak in the peasant movement. The movement has also been tainted by violence. What happened on Delhi's roads and Red Fort on January 26 has also damaged the image of the movement. Meanwhile, the three farmers have demanded the return of the agricultural law and all the opposition parties, including the Congress, are fully supporting the farmers' movement.
