Big tweak to housewife after budget, LPG cylinder goes up by Rs 25 at once

The common man has felt the pinch of inflation since the budget was presented. The price of domestic gas has risen once again. Oil marketing companies have released the price of LPG cylinder and the price has gone up by Rs 25 per liter, while the price of commercial cylinder has come down by Rs 6. Earlier, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder (19 KG) had gone up by Rs 190 per cylinder.

Now how much is the price of LPG cylinder

After the recent increase, the price of LPG in Delhi has gone up to Rs 719. In Delhi, cooking gas was priced at Rs 694 in January. Gas companies usually set new gas prices on the first day of the month. But there was no change in prices on the 1st of this month due to the release of the budget.

It may be mentioned that even in the new year i.e. January 2021, the oil companies did not increase the prices of domestic cooking gas cylinders to relieve the consumers. However, the price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was increased by Rs 17.

Current price of domestic gas

According to Indian Oil's website, from February 4, 2021, the price of a 14.2 kg unsubsidised LPG cylinder will be Rs 719 in Delhi, Rs 719 in Mumbai, Rs 735 in Chennai and Rs 745.50 in Kolkata. On December 15, 14.2 kg of unsubsidised cooking gas was priced at Rs 694 in Delhi, Rs 694 in Mumbai, Rs 710 in Chennai and Rs 720.50 in Kolkata.

Current cost of commercial gas

According to Indian Oil's website, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has gone up from February 4, 2021 to Rs 1,533 in Delhi, Rs 1,598.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1,482.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1,649.00 in Chennai.

Gave a double tweak in December

Oil companies needed a big relief in January. But before that, in December, the oil marketing company had doubled the price of a domestic gas cylinder by Rs 100 per cylinder. The company first raised Rs 50 on December 2 and then raised Rs 50 again on December 15.

35 paise increase in petrol-diesel price

The price of crude oil has been rising in the international market for the last few days. Wednesday also saw an increase of one per cent. It had risen two per cent the day before. Its direct effect is seen in the domestic market today. Petrol-diesel prices have gone up by 35 paise per liter in India today. At today's prices, petrol in Delhi costs Rs 86.65 per liter and diesel Rs 76.83 per liter. The price of petrol-diesel has reached record levels due to continuous price hikes. Inflation has also risen due to the rise in petrol-diesel prices. Which has a direct impact on the pockets of the general public.
