A war-like situation in Myanmar, instructing American citizens not to leave

After the uprising in Myanmar, armored vehicles of the army have landed on the roads of Yangon and a tense and war-like situation has been created here. Demonstrations have been taking place across the country since the arrest of the country's supreme leader Aung San Suu Kyi, with countries around the world keeping an eye on the current situation there.

The US Embassy, ​​meanwhile, has expressed concern about the safety of its citizens. The situation in Myanmar has appealed to its citizens to stay at home, given the current state of the American embassy. In a tweet on Monday, the US embassy warned that telecom services could be shut down.

The embassy said there were indications that telecom services would be shut down from 1pm to 9am during the army march in Yangon. American citizens living in Myanmar are urged not to leave their homes between 8pm and 4am.
