A telephonic conversation took place between PM Modi and Biden, discussing several important issues

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden had a telephone conversation. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a number of important issues. This is the first conversation between the two leaders since Biden was sworn in.

Announcing this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he wished the President of the United States well and the two discussed regional issues.

The statement came from the White House following talks between US President Biden and PM Modi. According to a White House statement, they discussed issues such as climate change, the two countries' fight against the Corona, the economy, and terrorism.

Spoke to @POTUS oJoeBiden and conveyed my best wishes for his success. We discussed regional issues and our shared priorities. We also agreed to further our co-operation against climate change.
