The Mathura court will now hear the case of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi on January 18

The case of Lord Shriram's birthplace in Ayodhya is now in court. The case was scheduled to be heard in the Muthura District Judge's Court on Monday but was not heard after the death of a Mathura lawyer, the court has given a new date of January 18.

It may be mentioned that a claim has been made in the case of Shrikrishna's birthplace by the court's lawyer Ranjana Agnihotri etc. During the hearing in the last few days, the Shahi Masjid Eidgah Committee had sought dismissal of the claim.

After hearing arguments from both the parties in the case, the district judge reserved judgment in the case and fixed January 11 for disposal. But the hearing could not be held on Monday.
