Sadgat President Pranab Mukherjee believed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should also listen to the voices of dissent that do not agree with him.

Pranavada expressed this idea in his last book. He wrote that the presence of the Prime Minister in Parliament makes a big difference in business. The Prime Minister should speak to the Opposition in confidence about all the problems facing the country. The voice of the Prime Minister should always be heard in Parliament.

Pranabda presented some ideas to me free in his memoirs The Presidential Years 2012-217 in his book as President. He completed the book last year before his death.

It was released on Tuesday. "Whether it is Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru or Indira Gandhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee or Manmohan Singh, everyone has made their presence felt in Parliament," he wrote in the book.

According to a news agency report, Pranabda wrote, "In his second term as Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi should take inspiration from the work of his predecessor, the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister should continue to be present to avoid the parliamentary crisis we all saw in the first term.

Prime Minister Modi should also listen to the tone of dissent and speak in Parliament as often as possible. Parliament should be used as a platform to persuade the opposition and keep the country abreast of the situation.

Pranabda has also expressed his views on the first term of the NDA government 2014-2019. He wrote that the NDA had failed to deliver on its responsibility to ensure smooth and proper functioning of Parliament.

"I blame the conflict between the government and the opposition for the government's arrogance and inability to handle the situation. However the cons are no less irresponsible. The opposition also showed irresponsibility, ”Pranavada wrote.
