The Prime Minister's visit abroad is very important for India's foreign policy. Today, as a result of PM's foreign trip, India's dominance in the world has increased. However, due to the Corona epidemic, the Prime Minister has not gone on a single foreign trip in the last one and a half years, but PM Modi's foreign tour is about to resume.

According to a report, the Prime Minister's foreign trips are going to start from March 2021. This includes international programs. The Prime Minister may start his foreign tour from Bangladesh in the new year.

PM Modi was scheduled to attend an event in Dhaka in March 2020 but could not attend due to corona. This was followed by a virtual meeting between the Prime Ministers of the two countries in December 2020. Then PM Sheikh Hasina invited Modi to join the planning for the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence in March 2021.

Preparations are underway for the Prime Minister's visit to Portugal after his visit to Bangladesh. The Portugal tour is important in terms of India's relationship with the European Union. A trip to Portugal last year could go this year without being planned. Last year, PM Modi was scheduled to attend the annual meeting of the Indo-European Union in May 2020.

In addition, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Jonas has invited Modi to be a guest at the G-7 Summit in Cornwall, UK. Modi has accepted the invitation. Modi's last foreign tour was to Brazil in November 2019. After that, the situation deteriorated due to Corona and in 2020, the whole year was empty for Modi on the issue of foreign travel. Modi did not tour a single country last year.
