The daughter of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla became an IAS on the very first attempt

Anjali Birla, daughter of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, has succeeded in becoming an IAS officer in the first attempt.

Anjali attributes her success to her elder sister Akanksha Birla. As an IAS officer, Anjali wants to work in the field of women empowerment.

Anjali said, "My elder sister kept motivating me. She was always with me. I got her full support in formulating the strategy from the exam to the interview. I used to prepare for the exam for 10 to 12 hours a day. Chose Science and International Relations subject.

Anjali took the IAS exam after graduating from colleges in Delhi and in her first attempt she has achieved the feat of becoming an IAS.
