Republic Day Parade 2021: Parade of three armies on Rajpath, overview of BrahMos missiles

Bangladesh Army joins the parade

The parade on Rajpath has started on the occasion of Republic Day. Helicopters first showered flowers on spectators, followed by ex-soldiers saluting the president.

For the first time on Rajpath, a marching detachment of 122 soldiers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces made its presence known. The team was led by Lt. Col. Abu Mohammad Shahnoor Shawn and his deputy Lt. Farhan Ishraq and Flight Lt. Sibat Rahman. The team consisted of Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force personnel.


The strength of Bhishma tanks and BrahMos missiles on Rajpath

The first battle tank T-90 on the highway showed its strength. This main battle tank works on the Hunter-Killer principle. Equipped with a powerful 125mm smooth bore gun, a 7.62mm co-axil machine gun and a 12.7mm anti-aircraft gun.

The autonomous launcher of the 861 Missile Regiment's BrahMos missile system showed its strength on the highway. This was led by Captain Kamrul Jaman. The 861st Regiment is a prestigious regiment of Indian artillery. The missile is a joint venture between India and Russia.

An overview of such a navy on the highway

A glimpse of the navy was also seen on the highway. The first part of the overview shows the attack on Karachi port by missile boats on the night of 04-05 December 1971 by the Indian Navy. Both sides of the overview show the route adopted by the attacking unit.

The overview shows the performance of Manjusha, the chief naval warrior of the 1971 war. INS Vikrant was seen taking part in a flying operation with Sea Hawk and Allied aircraft. The other part of the overview shows pictures of Mahavir Chakra winners during the war. Pictures of the surrender ceremony time are shown on both sides of the overview.

Passengers on Rajpath showed passion

An overview of the advanced or upgraded Shilka weapon system on Rajpath. This was commanded by Captain Preeti Chaudhary of the 140th Air Defense Regiment. The Shilka weapon system is equipped with modern radar and digital fire computers and is capable of destroying the enemy by hitting the target in all conditions for low level air defense. As a result of these impressive current demonstrations, the regiment has been given an important place in the Indian Army.

An overview of the regiment has now begun after the weapons. First the Jat Regiment paraded, after which the Garhwal Regiment personnel showed their passion. The Mahar Regiment showed its passion on Rajpath, whose slogan is Bolo Hindustan Ki Jai.

The jawans of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regiment, who released sixes of the enemy by chanting Durga Mata Ki Jai, won the hearts of everyone with their passion on Rajpath. A joint band from Sikh Light Infantry Regimental Center, Ladakh Scouts Regimental Center, Artillery Center played the tune of Sacrifice on Rajpath.
