‘Peace can lead to a change of power’, various countries have expressed concern over US violence

Criticizing the violence in Washington DC in the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the transfer of power could take place peacefully. There was no need for violence.

Thousands of supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump stormed Capitol Hill in Washington DC, USA, trying to capture the Senate. A woman was killed in a police shooting as a violent storm erupted. The Prime Minister was talking about that.

He said that nothing can be achieved in a democracy through illegal and violent protests. Apart from India, Canada, Britain and other European countries also expressed concern over what was happening in the United States.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote on Twitter that reports from the United States were "worrying". Everyone should work in peace. The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison, the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda, among others, also expressed concern over the violence in the United States and called for peace.

Two former US presidents, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, have blamed Donald Trump for the violence.
