Pakistan's anti-terrorism court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Masood Azhar, the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks. The next meeting of the FATF is responsible behind the warrant. Ahead of the Financial Action Task Force meeting, Pakistan has staged a drama to arrest the terrorist Masood. The Financial Action Task Force put Pakistan on a gray list at a meeting last year.

Pakistan is likely to be blacklisted this year. If Pakistan is blacklisted in the FATF list, it may have difficulty in getting international funding. Pakistan, struggling financially, needs a global loan. That is why Pakistan is trying to avoid being blacklisted in the FATF.

Earlier, the drama of taking action against terrorists was played out in Pakistan before the FATF meeting. As part of this, action was also taken against Hafiz Saeed. This time, the Pakistani government has launched an exercise to arrest Masood Azhar, the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks.
