The woman, who hails from the Aurangabad area of ​​Maharashtra, visited Pakistan in 2002 to meet her relatives. Somehow his passport was lost or stolen.

The sky fell on him as he lost his passport. The Pakistani government imprisoned him. Hasina Begum spent 18 years in a Pakistani jail.

Luckily for him, the Aurangabad police helped him, so he was released from jail on Republic Day on Tuesday and was able to return home. Talking to media, Hasina Begum said that although there was nothing wrong with me, the government of Pakistan threw me in jail. I had a lot of trouble there.

"After returning home, I feel very peaceful as if I am back in heaven," said Hasina Begum, 65. He publicly thanked the Aurangabad police for their efforts to get him released from jail. It was the Aurangabad police who welcomed Hasina Begum with a bouquet of flowers.

A police spokesperson said Hasina Begum was married to Dilsad Ahmed, a resident of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and lived in the City Chowk area of ​​Aurangabad. She had gone to Pakistan in 2002 to meet Jainuddin Chishti, a relative of her husband, where she was imprisoned after losing her passport. Hasina Begum pleaded not guilty in a Pakistani court and lost her passport. The court had sought an answer from the Aurangabad police. After the Aurangabad police sent concrete information about Hasina Begum to a Pakistani court on humanitarian grounds, the Pakistani court ordered her release. But 18 years of his life had passed in doing so.
