My father was a devout Hindu but respected other religions: Netaji's daughter Anita Faf

The 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great freedom fighter, was celebrated grandly all over the country. On this occasion, Netaji's daughter Anita Bose Fafe shared a video of herself on the Twitter account of the Indian Embassy in Germany, saying, "My father was a devout Hindu but also respected other religions. My father inspired his followers. Netaji wanted India to be sophisticated." As well as being ahead in the world and at the same time the religious traditions and history associated with the country remain equally strong.

Anita Faf has lived in Germany for many years. Anita said, "My father faced serious challenges with great courage during the independence movement. My father loved the country very much and was ready to make any sacrifice for the country."

The Government of India has also announced that Subhash Chandra Bose's birthday will now be celebrated as a day of feats every year and various events will be organized throughout the year to mark the 125th birth anniversary.
